Hady Amr, managing partner of the Amr Group, an economic, political analysis, and communications consulting firm, will speak on The United States and the Arab World: From Conflict to Cooperation, at 3:30 p.m., Aug. 24 in Room 429 of Gambrell Hall.
Amr was born in Beirut, Lebanon and raised in the U.S. and the Middle East. He is an expert on economic development in the Arab world and on U.S.-Arab relations. He is a former World Bank economist who served at the National Defense University and as national director for ethic outreach with the Gore-Lieberman campaign.
