U.S. Surgeon General to present Johnson & Johnson lecture at law school March 1

The USC School of Law will present a forum on obesity at 12:30 p.m. March 1 in the law school auditorium. The U.S. Surgeon General, Vice-Admiral Richard Carmona, will be the keynote speaker at the school's annual Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Lecture.

The event is free and open to the public. All members of the University community are encouraged to attend.

Carmona will be in South Carolina as part of his 50 Schools in 50 States Initiative. During his tenure, he will visit at least one institution in each of the 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico to talk with students about the dangers of risky behaviors and the benefits of healthy choices.
