Journalism professor publishes second book

Cecile Holmes, an award-winning religion journalist and professor in the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications, has published her second book.

In Four Women, Three Faiths: Inspiring Spiritual Journeys, Holmes writes about some of the personalities she encountered in her long career as a religion reporter. Despite their vast differences, each of the women profiled is a true servant of her faith, and Holmes devotes much energy toward describing their direct impact on her own spiritual growth.
Holmes also is a USC graduate: she received a B.A. degree in journalism in 1977.
