In recognition of Domestic Violence Month, the Office for Sexual Health and Violence Prevention is sponsoring a speaking event Oct. 24. in the Russell House Ballroom.

Christopher Kilmartin, an author and professor, will speak beginning at 8 p.m.
"Crimes Against Nature," Kilmartin's award-winning show, touches on, among other issues, the psychology of masculinity and the role men can play in violence prevention.
