A fee increase for all reserved surface lot and garage parking spaces has been approved for the 2007-2008 school year. Revenue from the increase will be used for preventative maintenance, installation of cameras and security equipment, and other upgrades.

The new rate for these reserved parking spaces will be indicated on the renewal notices, to be mailed by the end of March. The new rates will be effective starting fall 2007 with payment due no later than May 31.

University Parking Services will continue to evaluate the cost of close proximity reserved spaces to insure that the cost is in line with reserved space holders in private or public lots located in the general area of campus, and other comparable urban campuses on the east coast.

Everyone who has a reserved parking space will be sent a renewal notice. Spaces not renewed by May 31 will be reassigned. Incoming freshmen will be given priority and offered these available spaces.
