Request a Group Visit
The Visitor Center serves as the “front door” of the University by offering a variety of experiences to our campus guests. The guided walking tour for groups are usually available Tuesday through Thursday, when classes are in session. These tours are led by current students who serve as University Ambassadors, and last around one hour. If attending a guided walking group tour, please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
TOUR DATES AND TIMES:
Group visits are available Tuesday - Thursday only and according to the following schedule:
This tour is for large groups of high school or college-aged students who are visiting campus together. Large groups range from 10 to 60 prospective students, although groups of 50 or less will have a better campus tour experience. Group tours can also be arranged to include an information session with an admissions counselor.
High school students 10th - 12th grade or groups of college transfer students can be accommodated. To request a visit for your group, please contact us at (803) 777-0686.

Detailed parking instructions will be provided to the group when your visit is confirmed.
CHANGING TOUR TIMES / DAYS:
If you have booked a tour and need to change the day or time of the scheduled tour, please call the University of South Carolina Visitor Center at (803) 777-0686. Please call as soon as you know your tour needs to be changed, so we can consider another day and time.
CANCELING YOUR TOUR:
If you need to cancel your scheduled group tour, please contact the University of South Carolina Visitor Center at (803) 777-0686. By canceling your tour, you allow other groups to book a tour for that time and day.
