Plan Your Campus Visit
To help you plan a successful visit and get the most out of your time at USC, we have provided a list of helpful tips and important dates that we ask you to consider when planning your visit.
Scheduling Tips
- The best opportunity to learn about life on campus is to visit while students are here, so it's best to avoid exam periods and student or University holidays. See our list of important dates. Also, plan to spend the day with us to enjoy the many opportunities available to prospective students.
- To assist us in planning your visit, we ask you give us two weeks notice.
- After we have processed your visit request, you will receive an e-mail or call to confirm your visit, including directions and important parking information.
- Plan to arrive on campus a little early. It's better to be early and have a little extra time on campus than to be rushed or to miss an appointment. You can use the extra time to explore on your own if your schedule allows.
- If there is more than one prospective student in your group, please submit a request for each student.
- Please keep in mind the Visitor Center is not able to accommodate athletic requests due to NCAA regulations. We can, however, provide you with the information that you will need to contact Athletics directly. The best way to get in touch with the coaching staff at USC, however, is through your high school coach. You can also refer to the recruiting section of the Athletics Web site.
If your plans change, please contact us at campusvisits@sc.edu or at 800-922-9755 as soon as possible.
If you are planning a visit to our campus at a time when guided tours will not be available, please contact us by phone, 800-922-9755, or e-mail, visitor@sc.edu, at least three weeks before your visit. We can mail you an information packet and self-guided tour map.
