Visitor Center: Experience Carolina

Experience the University of South Carolina and Columbia.

Located in the heart of the state's capital, the University of South Carolina offers visitors diverse opportunities to learn more about the campus and to experience an array of entertainment, sports, recreation, and fun.

Finding out what there is to do is easy. Check out the events calendar for a full line-up of School of Music performances or theater, music, and dance in the Koger Center for the Arts. The Colonial Life Arena offers a steady diet of entertainment—from headliner concerts to monster truck shows and rodeos—as well as a full season of men's and women's Gamecock basketball.

McKissick Museum, located on the historic Horseshoe, features folklife displays and exhibits. A quick perusal of Carolina's athletics schedules can put you up front and center to see soccer, volleyball, equestrian, and more.

Can't visit the Carolina campus in person but want a sneak preview anyway? The University has you covered with virtual tours of student residence halls, the President's House, and the entire campus.

If you care to venture off campus into the surrounding city, there is the nationally acclaimed Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Garden, Lake Murray, Three Rivers Greenway, and Five Points—a mecca of boutiques, restaurants, and pubs for any taste.
