Description of Project:

University Housing has switched its approximately 250 CRT computer screens to LCD 'Flat Screen' monitors.

Goals:

The conversion will save Housing an estimated $5,000-$15,000 annually on electric usage by the monitors. The monitors also may reduce the cooling load required for a building, improve employee ergonomics, increase productivity and reduce printer paper consumption due to improved screen displays.
