Joining Methods
Making composite parts is one thing, assembling them effectively and efficiently is another. McNAIR is researching fusion bonding techniques for the assembly of thermoplastic fiber composites and hybrid polymer fiber composites. With our academic and industrial partners we are building the next generation of additive manufacturing and assembly techniques for composites.
