About Me: I enjoy music, going to concerts, movies, hiking in the great outdoors, snow skiing, surfing, and spending time with my wife and three kids. I try my best at golf and love playing but am still in need of some actual lessons. I never met a theme park I didn't like; I love going on rides and roller coasters. I once jumped out of an airplane at 18,000 feet to celebrate a birthday - I highly recommend it for the brave of heart, it was a terrific experience! My professional passions are advising, teaching, and just trying to help students navigate and take full advantage of the college experience, which can be super fun but also very challenging at the same time.

Advice to Students: It's good to dream big, but in order to achieve those dreams you have to focus on doing the best you can in the here and now in order to get there. If you take care of business and do a good job with whatever you are working on at the time - be it your studies or in your career - people will notice, and then opportunities will come your way.
