- A physical CarolinaCard is required to access Campus Recreation facilities
- Staff and student employee direction/guidance must be followed at all times.

- Utilize red floor-marked boxes for personal work-out space where appropriate.
- Please wipe all touched surfaces before and after use with disinfectant.
- Appropriate athletic attire is required in Campus Recreation Weight Rooms.
- Closed-toe, athletic footwear is required.
- Clothing or items that may damage equipment, must not be worn.
- Patrons should use extreme caution to avoid potential injuries to themselves or others.
- All weight training should be performed in a controlled, safe manner. Dropping, slamming, or bouncing of weights is prohibited.
- Use of equipment other than its designed function is prohibited.
- Clips are required on plate loaded barbells.
- All equipment must be returned to appropriate racks when finished.
- The use of chalk is prohibited.
- Weights and bars should not lean up against mirrors.
- Users should report any injury or facility equipment irregularity to the staff member on duty. Patrons are responsible for checking equipment prior to each use.
- Improper behavior is prohibited and subject to immediate disciplinary actions.
- Facility is not responsible for lost/stolen items
- Intermittent clean-up may occur at any time during operations for safety/sanitary reasons.
- Patrons unfamiliar with the operation of any of the exercise machines should contact the staff member on duty for assistance.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older to use the weight and fitness rooms.
- No outside balls are permitted.
- Basketballs will be provided by Campus Recreation.
- Shirts and athletic shoes are required.
- Please follow posted direction on indoor track.
- Joggers - Outside Lane.
- Walkers - Inside Lane.
- Spectating or loitering on the track is prohibited.
- Spiked shoes prohibited.
- Stretching is not allowed on the track.
- Facility is not responsible for lost/stolen items.
- Pool access is prohibited unless lifeguards are present.
- Campus Recreation reserves the right to close lanes or aquatics facilities as needed
- Underwater breath-holding of any kind is NOT permitted
- No children should be in the pool without supervision
- Supervision is defined as within arm’s reach of the parent or guardian
- There should be no running, boisterous, or rough play in the pool area
- Diving is not permitted, all entry must be feet first
- The use of drugs, tobacco, or alcohol is strictly prohibited
- Food and drink (other than water/sports drink in a sealable, non-glass container) are not permitted in the pool area unless prior approval has been given from Campus Recreation Professional Staff
- Glass is prohibited in the pool area
- All patrons should shower prior to entering the pools/spa
- Persons with open wounds/band-aids are not permitted in the pool. Persons with skin, eye, ear or respiratory infections should not enter the pool
- No animals or pets allowed in the pool enclosure unless a certified service animal
- All patrons are required to enter through the front entrance/welcome desk to access
the pools unless prior approval has been given form Campus Recreation Professional
Staff
- Outdoor pool gate access is NOT permitted
- Large recreational floating devices are prohibited. When the appropriateness of the pool equipment is in question, the Campus Recreation staff will make the final determination.
- All floatation devices must be US Coastguard approved
- Swimmers must either bring their own towel or have purchased a locker or towel service
- Circle swimming is strongly encouraged to maximize swimming space. No more than 2 swimmers per lane, swimming in a counterclockwise direction and passing in the middle of the lane
- In the event of an emergency, patrons are expected to follow instructions as given by the Campus Recreation staff
- The use of profanity, extreme public displays of affection, abuse or unauthorized usage of pool equipment, climbing over partitions, abusive behavior, and harassment of other patrons is not permitted
- Appropriate swim attire must be worn at all times while swimming. When the appropriateness of the swimwear is in question, the Campus Recreation staff will make the final determination.
- Refrain from gum chewing, spitting, nasal discharge, urination, or defecation in pool gutters or on pool deck.
- Individuals who are not toilet trained are required to wear a swim diaper
- Children, elderly persons, pregnant women, and those with cardiovascular conditions should consult their physician before spa use
- Appropriate swim attire must be worn at all times while using the spa. When the appropriateness of the swimwear is in question, the Campus Recreation staff will make the final determination.
- Avoid alcoholic beverages before using the spa
- This is a dry sauna. Do not apply any liquids to the heating element

- Under no circumstances should users wear excess clothing such as a sweatsuit while using the sauna
- Children, elderly persons, pregnant women, and those with cardiovascular conditions should consult their physician before sauna use
- Sauna use while under the influence of alcohol or prescribed medicine should be avoided
- Persons should spend no more than 15 minutes in the sauna within one sitting

Lost and found items may be claimed at the front desk of the STWFC or Blatt PEC.
