HSFC Workshop Topics- weight management methods, strength and cardiovascular adaptations to exercise, fitness myths, proper recovery, program design, and more.
Pre and Post-Fitness Assessments
With the guidance of your personal trainer, you will assess several areas of fitness including:
- Cardiovascular Fitness
- Muscular Strength and endurance
- Body Composition-Inbody 270
- Full Body Flexibility and Mobility
The pre- baselines will be used to track progress throughout the semester. Pre- Post comparison will help assess progress and program development.
Your trainer will create a semester-long individualized fitness program based on your goals, medical history, fitness assessment results, and availability.
Individualized Personal Training
Five or ten one-hour training sessions with a nationally certified personal trainer (ACSM, NSCA, NASM). These sessions are recommended to be scheduled weekly or bi-weekly based on your purchase, but can be scheduled to meet your individual needs.
Mid Semester Body Composition Analysis
A brief midpoint evaluation of your progress to keep you on track.
Participants will receive a booklet with all the material needed to succeed for the semester. Six lecture/hands-on workshops will be held throughout the semester and cover weight management methods, strength and cardiovascular adaptations to training, fitness fallacies, recovery, program design, and more. These workshops will be facilitated by our certified personal trainers and fitness director.
Group X Pass
Each HSFC member will be granted unlimited access to group exercise classes throughout the semester.
Cost of membership
- $199 for all students and STWFC members
- $99 upgrade to weekly personal training sessions throughout program (5 additional sessions)
