A Refreshed Approach for a Historic Identity
The university's refreshed brand platform will begin to be rolled out in the spring of 2019. Big updates in message development, visual identity, brand tools and more are currently in production and will come online in the toolbox throughout the semester.


The university's web content management system is a software tool for creating and maintaining web content. While the CMS is easy to use for even users with no knowledge of web development, all content managers must be trained on the platform. 

The two-step training process helps you learn to plan pages, edit text, upload and manipulate images, and more to create compelling web pages and content. If you ever need a refresher, check out our CMS training videos.

Style Training

The first step in web training is called style training. In style training, a user experience designer reviews the university web style in detail and previews the tools available to you in the CMS. As the designer leads you through the training, you'll be able to ask any questions you have about the university's style or working with the CMS. Contact us to request style training.

Technical Training

The hands-on, technical training of using the CMS is conducted by University Technology Services. In the second phase of web training, attendees learn how to use the CMS to build, edit and modify web pages. When you register for style training, you'll have the opportunity to select from upcoming technical training sessions.
