Adventures in Augmented and Virtual Reality

Have you ever imagined having the ability to walk in the shoes of your favorite movie character? Have you ever wanted to walk on an alien planet, or fly above the clouds like a bird? Have you ever wondered how you can add your own digital creations to the real world? 

With virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), you can do all of this and more. In this camp, the adventurous and courageous will explore AR/VR and dive into this amazing and immersive experience. Explore strange new worlds, learn how to navigate through virtual space and even design your own virtual objects using AR!

  • June 14 - 19 for Rising 9 - 12 grade students

Robin James is a 2nd Year PhD Candidate in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina working in the Laboratory of Active Materials and Smart Structures.

Sowmya Raghu

Sowmya Raghu is an Instructor and Research Associate in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina working in the Enhanced Heat Transfer Laboratory.
