The CTE’s new EXCITE Initiative offers a unique blend of resources and events focused on integrating emerging technologies into student-centered pedagogy. EXCITE emphasizes tools like Virtual Reality, Gamification, and Visual AI, helping educators adopt and personalize innovative teaching methods. Rather than just showcasing new technologies, EXCITE empowers faculty to enhance learning experiences and engage students in dynamic ways aligned with their teaching styles and disciplines.
Looking ahead, the initiative also includes exciting new opportunities to foster innovation, including a faculty and staff book club on active learning, a certificate of completion in active learning, and an online database of lesson plans and resources to spark creativity and collaboration.
