The Digital Accessibility Microlearning Series has supported educators across USC in strengthening digital accessibility within teaching and learning materials. Since its launch, 144 faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants have participated in one or more sessions.

Designed as a series of short, focused sessions, the microlearning sessions provide targeted guidance that educators can apply directly to their courses. Each session is 30 minutes and addresses a specific accessibility topic.

During Fall 2025, the series offered sessions focused on Blackboard Ally, accessible Word documents, accessible PowerPoint design, PDF accessibility, and video captioning and transcription. Sessions combined brief demonstrations with examples and resource sharing to support practical application. These sessions are being offered again this semester to support access and continued participation.

The short format and focused topics allow educators to engage with accessibility concepts incrementally and apply changes directly within their course materials across instructional contexts.
