Faculty from across the university recently completed the Spring 2026 Teaching with
Artificial Intelligence cohort, participating in Auburn University's Teaching with AI course through a cohort facilitated by the CTE. Participants who successfully completed
the program earned the AUAI Experimenter badge.
Spring 2026 Cohort Completers
The cohort was facilitated by CTE Instructional Designer Gloria Washington and CTE Faculty Mentor Allison Byxbe. Over five modules and a capstone discussion, participants explored practical strategies for incorporating generative artificial intelligence into their teaching while considering responsible, ethical, and student-centered practices. Faculty experimented with AI tools, developed effective prompting techniques, examined classroom applications, and explored ways to support student learning through thoughtful integration of generative AI.
Faculty who completed the Spring 2026 cohort will continue the conversation this fall through an informal Brown Bag discussion where participants can reconnect, share experiences, and discuss how they are applying generative AI in their teaching.
