With 14 years of marketing experience and having worked on 20 higher education campuses, Faren prides herself on advocating for the student dining experience. Faren started her marketing career with Aramark at Old Dominion University as Marketing Assistant followed by a promotion to Marketing Manager at the College of William and Mary shortly after. Faren then transitioned into a traveling marketing role supporting four higher education accounts in Virginia and two in West Virginia. When a Senior District Marketing Manager position opened in South Carolina, to support twelve schools across the state, Faren accepted the position and relocated to Columbia. During that time, Faren was able to support the Aramark bid process at the University of South Carolina and transitioned into the Marketing Director role upon award of the contract. Faren was a part of the opening transition team and has been on campus since that time. In her current role, Faren champions elevating the student experience through meal plan membership and special events and promotions, drives student engagement and satisfaction, and promotes service excellence among the dining team.

Faren double majored at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and holds bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Management. Faren is from Hampton, VA, is the proud mother of two daughters, Kennedy and Jordyn, and enjoys spending time with friends and family in her free time.
