Cody is a lifetime South Carolina native with a deep-rooted connection to the University of South Carolina, where he studied from 2015-2017. Despite graduating from the Darla Moore School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business, and a minor in economics, his interest for human nutrition was something that he couldn’t deny. To further his knowledge on the subject, he returned to his hometown of Rock Hill to pursue a master’s degree in human nutrition at Winthrop University.

Upon completion of his graduate degree, he honed his expertise through supervised clinical rotations at the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA hospital in Columbia. Just as he finished all the requirements to become a Registered Dietitian, a position opened with Aramark at the University of South Carolina, which he gladly accepted. As a proud member of the Carolina Food Co. team, he utilizes his expertise to create an inclusive dining environment that is accessible to all students. He is dedicated to the betterment of USC’s campus dining experience through the innovation of student accommodations and engagement with students/parents from around the country.

Cody also attended one of USC’s satellite campuses, USC Lancaster, where he played college soccer and met his wife. Throughout his collegiate career, he attended a total of five state-sponsored schools (USC, USC Lancaster, Midlands Technical College, York Technical College, and Winthrop University)!
