Ashley is a Registered, Licensed, and academically published Dietitian from Cincinnati, Ohio. She became interested in the science behind how food is used to fuel your body as a teenager and quickly dove into the field of dietetics. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Dietetics, her dietetic internship, and her Masters of Science in Nutrition from the University of Cincinnati. Ashley has spent 10 years building expertise in the foodservice and nutrition industries and is excited to help bring nutritious, safe, and delicious culinary menus to the University of South Carolina. Her goal is to provide students with confidence in the meals served to them and help foster a healthy relationship with food. She enjoys from-scratch baking, trying new restaurants, and balanced eating.
