More about Cooper:

Cooper grew up in Columbia and has been a die hard Carolina fan his whole life. He moved to Charleston for culinary school and worked at an Oyster Bar downtown shucking oysters and making salads. He has never found something he is more passionate about than cooking for a group of people. He is very happy to be working with Carolina Food Co. at such a young age and is excited to learn and grow. 

What is your favorite memory associated with food?

I loved watching the Food Network in the mornings during summer break.

What advice do you have for anyone learning to cook for themselves?

Have fun and try new things. Don't be afraid to explore new roads in the kitchen.

What is a fun fact that the students should know about you?

I once cooked for Bill Murray and Stephen Colbert.
