Mission
The Office of Access and Opportunity at the University of South Carolina, leads and supports university-wide initiatives focused on the recruitment of a diverse faculty, staff, and student body, while fostering an inclusive and equitable university community. The Office of Access and Opportunity works closely with university students, faculty and staff to create and sustain an inclusive learning, living and working environment where all members of the university’s community feel that they are welcomed, valued and supported.
How You Can Participate
Our office is staffed with caring individuals who actively seek input and participation from the university community. Though small in number, our people are here to assist you in your efforts to ensure a diverse and inclusive campus. You can join our efforts by lending your voice to the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee or simply by contacting us.
