According to Diverse Issues in Higher Education's Top 100 Degree Producers in 2014, USC Columbia ranks:
- 16th in the number of degrees awarded to African Americans in Mathematics and Statistics; and,
- 74th in the number of degrees awarded to African Americans in all disciplines combined. This translates to the top 3% of 4-year institutions in the country in the number if degrees awarded to African American students.
Measuring Diversity
