University of South Carolina Inclusive Excellence Institute is designed to help individuals
and teams deepen their knowledge and understanding of leveraging diversity through
a leadership development curriculum that draws on their lived experiences. Taking
personal and collective responsibility to ensure that all experiences are valued and
welcomed, participants develop and apply an intentional growth mindset that promotes
inclusive practices in their everyday lives.
Program Objectives:
Develop the capacity to understand one’s own culture, identities, intersectionality’s,
perspectives, competencies and the role diversity and inclusion play in their lives
and in society.
Develop and apply an intentional inclusive excellence growth mindset that promotes
inclusive practices in participants everyday lives where differences are considered
a collective strength.
Create an intentional transformational inclusive excellence living document action
plan.
