Everything Students Need to Know About Connecting to EntertaiNET

The Division of Information Technology is working to improve wireless internet across campus. Part of the improvements include limiting access on the EntertaiNET wireless portal to only gaming systems, streaming devices and smart TVs. Non-entertainment devices such as laptops, tablets and smartphones will no longer be permitted access to EntertaiNET. You can start registering your entertainment devices any time.

Here’s what you should do now:

1. Register your entertainment devices at https://mydevice.uts.sc.edu before trying to use EntertaiNET. Instructions on how to register devices are available here

2. You can connect up to five devices to EntertaiNET, but they all must be registered first

3. Use your entertainment devices as you normally would and provide any feedback you have to DoITcommunications@sc.edu

Students should connect non-entertainment devices to “uscstudent”, which is a secure portal. (You can sign in to “uscstudent” using your Network Username and password. Your Network Username is the first portion of your official university email address.) Access additional information on Network Username and password online.
