  • Chat online with a Service Desk technician. Available Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Call the Service Desk at 803-777-1800. Available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Visit the IT Security webpage for tips on how to stay secure while learning and working remotely.

Blackboard Support:

24/7 Support:
The DoIT is currently providing 24/7 support for Blackboard users across the UofSC system. Technicians will be able to assist with a wide range of Blackboard-related issues, including basic use, how to post and complete assignments, how to improve content accessibility through Ally, how to create quizzes/tests/exams, and how to use academic integrity tools such as Safe Assign.

Any student or instructor in need of Blackboard support should call the UofSC IT Service Desk at 803-777-1800 and follow the prompts. Assistance with Blackboard is available anytime throughout the day, night, or weekend. Blackboard’s help website is also available, and has answers to all of your questions, whether you are trying to log in for the first time or you need to submit a final paper. The site simplifies the search process by directing you to content that’s just for students.

On-Campus Support

Carolina Tech Zone:
Students on-campus who need hands-on technology help can visit the Carolina Tech Zone. The Carolina Tech Zone is operating on a drop-off appointment system. Students can call 803-777-1800 to schedule their drop-off appointment. Remote students who live in the area are welcome to take advantage of this service. Please note that masks and social distancing are required when dropping your device off.  The Carolina Tech Zone will reopen on January 11.
