The Division of IT expanded Wi-Fi coverage in Thomas Cooper Library, Hollings Library, Close-Hipp Building and Gambrell Hall, as well as upgraded network closets to improve speed, reliability and future scalability over the summer.

USC launched a groundbreaking partnership with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT Edu to all students, faculty and staff in August—making USC the first university in South Carolina to offer secure, enterprise-level access to AI tools.
