Answers to common questions about Stream2 can be found below. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please contact the IT Service Desk at 803-777-1800 for support. 

Establishing Service

Departments can visit my.sc.edu, select Faculty/Staff from the tabs at the top of the page, and click "Purchase Computer Software," which can be found under the PERSONAL heading. Select Cable TV.

The subscription cost for Stream2 is $180 annually per user, which equates to $15 per month. The service will be internally billed annually. You can sign up for the service by visiting the Software section of my.sc.edu.

Yes. Smart TVs and streaming devices must be registered to the university wireless network. Please use these instructions for connecting your device to the university network.

You will need your university Network Username and password to log into the Stream2 cable TV service.

Yes; the first time you login to your Stream2 account, you must accept the Terms and Conditions in order to access the service. 

Stream2 is not available for students at this time.

Using Stream2

Stream2 works on web browswers and many devices through the app. See the Knowledge Article for more details.

For common space streaming, we ask that one subscription be purchased for each streaming device through Software Distribution at my.sc.edu/software. You can mange access the Stream2 service on these devices using a resource email account. To request a new resource account, please visit the Service Catalog.

Stream2 is not available for students at this time.
