Program Description:
Greek culture has a unique connection to sport spanning from ancient to modern times. This course will explore the importance of sport to Greek life throughout history and today. Students will be able to trace the origins of the Ancient and Modern Olympic movements and explore the corresponding development of sport science. We will seek to further understand the connection between sport and health by learning about ancient and modern health practices, sport injuries, and nutrition across time.
