Program Description:
Students will travel to the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany and live with a host family for two weeks. While there, they will visit a high school, where one of their main focuses of engagement is sustainability, and participate in a sustainability project with students there. They will also visit various sustainability-focused sites around the state and in Berlin, such as a wind turbine manufacturing facility, a wind farm, a solar farm, restored UNESCO world heritage sites, a chocolate factory, and urban gardening sites.
