 This Maymester experience (one week on campus, two weeks in Italy), will take students on an inspirational journey into the heart of Italy to explore, document the people and write/photograph about a culture that has captivated people for thousands of years. In Rome, we will get an inside look at the Vatican and other monuments to the world’s great religions. We will travel by train to Assisi where we will travel back in time to the middle ages to see the Basilica of St. Francis as well as the Basilica of Saint Clare. We will absorb and document the life of a city and country rich in art and architecture. food and fashion. Students will work in small teams to create and illustrate blog posts and engage in creation of social media posts.
