Modern society is fascinated with sports, and nowhere is that more evident than in Australia where some say that sports is their "National Religion". The purpose of this program is to learn about sports medicine, history, and culture as it pertains to the people and athletes of Australia. Educational activities include lecture series with top medical professionals in the field of Neurology, sports medicine, orthopedics, health care and physiotherapy. We have multiple lectures set up on a variety of topics related to sports medicine. We also have planned interactions with Aussie students from the same discipline from James Cook University. We also will attend professional Rugby and Football events with the Penrith Panthers NRL Football Club, Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Football Club and the Sydney Swans of the AFL.
