About this Fellowship

The NAEd/Spencer fellowship funds the dissertation write up stage for graduate students from a range of field whose research is on education and learning.

The NAEd/Spencer Fellowship aims to invest in the next generation of scholars from a variety of fields whose research is relevant to the improvement of education. The fellowship provides a stipend for the final write up of the dissertation and must be used for the last year (or two) of dissertation work.

Although the dissertation topic must centrally concern education, graduate study may be in any academic discipline or professional field.

Applicants must have advanced to candidacy and completed all preliminary data collection, field work, or other research and be in the writing stage.


Award Value

$27,500 stipend plus two professional development retreats.
