About this Fellowship
Funding for TESOL master's degree at the American University in Cairo.
Fellowships in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) are offered to full-time students who wish to pursue a master's degree in the TESOL program and acquire language teaching experience at The American University in Cairo (AUC). Fellows take up to 9 credits of graduate coursework each semester while also teaching 9 hours of English language.
Applicants need to be admitted to the AUC TESOL program, have native or near-native proficiency in English, an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher, and financial need. Special consideration in selection is given to those with TESOL experience in the Middle East; knowledge of Arabic or other languages; BA or coursework in linguistics, English, or a related field. This award is open to all nationalities.
