Interfraternity Council

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is comprised of 23 chapters. Seven elected executive officers support chapter operations, direct recruitment efforts, create positive programming, promote scholarship success, and seek to improve the university and surrounding community. The executive board and chapter presidents meet biweekly to maintain a constant line of communication and discuss the current state of the fraternity community.

The council meets bi-weekly with one representative from each Interfraternity Council chapter to collaborate and have open discussion about current issues. Meetings are scheduled at 7 p.m. on Wednesday’s.

IFC has placed philanthropy and service at the forefront of their mission. Fraternities raise money for both local and national philanthropy causes, annually raising over $350,000. The IFC hosts an athletic competition philanthropy event annually for local causes, including Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and Camp Cole.

Fraternities regularly give back to the local community through service projects, annually providing nearly 20,000 hours of service.
