New Organizations
This year Alpha Xi Delta and Phi Kappa Tau joined our campus. Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc rejoined our campus this year, completeing the Divine Nine NPHC chapters on our campus. Their growth and development over the past year has been incredible. These organizations are such a positive addition to our community and we look forward to the great work they will do in coming years.


Individual Achievements

Megan O'Brien is a fourth-year biology student from Flemington, New Jersey. Twice a recipient of the Office of Undergraduate Research's Magellan Apprentice award, Megan is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society, Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She received the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, the highest honor available to USC undergraduate students. Megan was also awarded the It's On Us Courage Award by former Vice President Joe Biden.

Sydney Kalmes is a junior studying international buisness and finance from Chesterfield, Missouri. She was awarded the Dorothy Shaw Leadership Award, the highest individual honor given to a collegiate member in Alpha Delta Pi.

Trevor Prioleau is a senior finance and management science/GSCOM major. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and was named College Brother of the Year.

Lizeth Morales, president of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. won the Changing the Face of USC Diversity Award from the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs given to a student who "exemplifies the value of diversity and supports multiple identities across campus."

Alex Hiser is a senior marketing major from Norfork, Virgina. Alex is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and was awarded the Carolinana Award. The Carolinana Award recognizes senior undergraduate students who have been the tireless, behind the scenes workers that every successful activity or organization needs. They are leaders through their actions and contributions to the Carolina community.

Lindamarie Olson is a senior social work major and member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Lindamarie was awarded the the Rosemary Broadway Award which recognizes a student who is actively involved in community service. Lindamarie has completed over 250 hours of community service in the past year.

Chapter Achievements

Congratulations to our 2016 Chapters of the Year- Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Delta Chi Sorority Inc., and Theta Chi.

Kappa Delta Chi won Student Organization of the Year at the Leadership and Service Awards. 

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was awarded Undergraduate Model Chapter of the Year at the South Carolina State Leadership Conference.

Phi Mu was awarded the membership achievement award, academic excellence award, and outstanding communications channel award at their national convention.

Kappa Kappa Gamma was awarded the recruitment award at their national convention. Featured in the picture are some of the leaders of Epsilon Kappa with Kappa Kappa Gamma's national president.

Chi Omega received the Chapter Award of Excellence at their national convention. Chi Omega had over 14,000 hours of community service this academic year and raised over $35,000 raised for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
