Understanding that one of the best ways to be a global university is to have faculty who are internationally recognized as experts in their fields, Global Carolina is happy to announce its 2nd year of faculty international travel grants. Faculty applying for such grants should be presenting significant research at major international meetings and conferences. The maximum grant is $1,000 and must be matched by the awardee’s unit.
Proposals will be awarded by the Office of the Provost’s International Advisory Committee, chaired by the Director of Global Carolina. Proposals should not be more than 500 words and should include the name of the meeting or conference, a brief statement of its significance, and an abstract of the work to be presented. A separate budget, written confirmation of unit matching funds, and an application cover sheet should also be provided. Complete details are provided in the FAQs.
