Event Approval Procedures

The “Event Approval Form” will require the following details and information:

  1. The event location and anticipated number of participants.
    • Note that any off-campus event, regardless of where it is held, must adhere to the university’s health and safety policies. Food for those locations must be catered by Aramark, until further notice.  Events at these locations must take special note of how social distancing and safety will be achieved.
  2. A designated “Event Lead” responsible for collecting the names of participants, social distancing, and food distribution & clean up.
  3. An event safety plan detailing social distancing and participant safety will be achieved.
  4. A food request detailing purchasing information. NOTE: The Business Office “purchasing request form” will be integrated into the Event Approval Form for the duration of the Covid-19 response period.
  5. Approval from unit and departmental authorities signifying that the events have been reviewed for safety and registered on the master list of event approvals.
