Our Green Quad Sections

The University of South Carolina created the University 101 classes to help make the transition to college life as smooth as possible for first-year students. You will learn a lot of useful skills for acclimating to your new life and, with special sections taught in our Green Quad Learning Center, you'll have an unmatched opportunity to meet other Green Quad students.

Our Instructors

The beauty of all of our U101 classes is that they are taught by our faculty and staff as well as other members of the USC community that have a deep affinity for the Green Quad.

This means we add a little GQ flair to the classroom experience and tie the classes into events and service opportunities that are already happening in the Green Quad community.
