HCM PeopleSoft and I-9 Advantage Access

Before you can formally take on the role of Student Hire Representative for your area, you must first complete required training and request access in both HCM PeopleSoft and I-9 Advantage.

Read the instructions and take the required stepsbelow to request access to these two systems.


HCM PeopleSoft Access

The first step to gaining access as a Student Hire Rep is to complete the required training on processes and procedures in HCM PeopleSoft.

Once you have completed the required training, submit an HCM HR Access Request form and upload that to a ServiceNow HCM Request for Access.

All access requests go through HR for training verification and data steward approval. You will receive an email once your request has been approved and your access has been updated. You cannot initiate student hire related actions in HCM PeopleSoft until the access has been granted.


I-9 Advantage Access

The second step is to request access to I-9 Advantage, UofSC’s vendor for completing I-9 and E-Verify electronically.

There are three forms which must be submitted as a package to The Division of Human Resources, before you can complete the E-Verify Tutorial and E-Verify Test before access is granted to I-9 Advantage. The required forms are as follows:

Once the above listed forms are completed, send as one document to HR Operations at You will receive an email from I-9 Advantage to create your account and complete the required tutorial and test.
