Background

Jessica comes to USC with experience in civic engagement, teacher development, and education research.  Prior to joining the LSC, Jessica worked with the South Carolina Geographic Alliance and was a former high school social studies teacher.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys photography, walking her rescue dog, and traveling. Her interests in social studies and travel allowed Jessica to bring students on international educational trips during summers.  Jessica is also committed to lifelong learning and is currently enrolled within the Ph.D. program in Geography at the University.
