Diversity Retreat

Focus on diversity and leadership by examining the meaning of social change and developing an action plan to bring back to your community during this weekend-long retreat.

The Carolina Diversity Retreat is an off-campus experience, filled with interactive social justice workshops, aimed to empower students to become change agents on their campuses and within their communities.

This day-long retreat will focus on diversity, leadership, and social justice. Participants will examine the meaning of diversity, why it is valuable, and how as student leaders they can incorporate diversity and social justice into their respective student organizations and communities.

The goal of this retreat is for participants to develop a greater understanding of what it means to be diverse, to accept the diversity of others and acknowledge their own diversity and commitment to social justice. Additionally, participants will be asked to develop strategies to incorporate what they have learned into their student groups as well as their individual lives.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
