Affinity Group Dialogues

Affinity Groups are small groups designed to be spaces for similarly identified folks to come together as caucuses.

Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups are facilitated by Affinity Group Leaders (AGL’s) and will meet regularly throughout the semester as determined by the AGL. Group topics may range from social check-ins to discussions of relevant topics.

The current groups are:

Name: APIDA Graduate Student Affinity Group

Description: A counterspace for APIDA (which stands for Asian Pacific Islander Desi American) graduate students to collectively resist oppression through meaningful conversations, learn skills to navigate academic and professional spaces, and foster social connections with other APIDA graduate students.

A caucus space for LGBTQ+ graduate students from around the UofSC Campus.

A caucus space for students who are members of social fraternities and sororities, including but not limited to, CPA, IFC, NPHC, and MGC.

A caucus space for queer and/or trans people of color.
