Cade Crenshaw serves as the Coordinator for Resources and External Relations for the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. In this role, Cade seeks to strengthen and support the NRC community, both in-person and online, by ensuring their access to key resources and publications. He works to develop and distribute content via the Center’s social media channels, email accounts, and listservs and supports publication and resource development processes.

Prior to joining the NRC, Cade spent two years as the Sports Information Director at Allen University where he oversaw all external communications and marketing efforts related to the athletic department, managed the institution’s athletic department website and social media channels, and served as the media relations liaison between the athletic department and regional/national media organizations.

Cade is a Walhalla, South Carolina native, and a proud University of South Carolina alum. In addition to his work at the NRC, Cade also serves as a play-by-play broadcaster on a variety of South Carolina athletics events on ESPN+, SEC Network+, and the Gamecock Sports Network from Learfield. Outside of work, Cade enjoys watching baseball, reading, and spending time with his wife and dog.
