Dandria McCray Figueroa serves as the Coordinator for Continuing Education at the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. As part of the Conferences and Continuing Education team, she supports the Center’s awards programs, professional development offerings, and conferences that advance student success and engagement in higher education.

Prior to joining the National Resource Center, Dandria served as Office Manager in the Admissions Office at the University of South Carolina Lancaster, where she oversaw daily operations, supported the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Affairs, and coordinated student engagement and event logistics. She also spent more than a decade in the insurance industry, where she led a high-performing team, fostered a culture of excellence, and developed strong organizational and interpersonal skills that continue to inform her work today.

A proud graduate of Morris College and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Dandria is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, where she graduated from Rock Hill High School. She is passionate about lifelong learning, student development, and building meaningful connections within her community. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three children.
