Introducing the ParkUSC app, powered by ParkZen, exclusively designed for the University of South Carolina community.  This new app offers innovative solutions to enhance your parking experience on campus.

• Parking Feedback: Leave feedback on your recent parking experiences to help the USC Parking & Transportation Services improve parking on campus.

How it works

The crowd-sourcing app, tailored specifically for the USC community, helps users find available parking near their chosen destination. Additionally, it provides reminders on where your car is parked, citation warnings and a platform to provide your feedback.

The more active users the app has, the better the experience will be in finding available parking near your destination. The system needs data to give accurate reports, so download the app and start helping today.

 

Things to know

• Once you download and install the app, you will be asked to "Always Allow Location". This allows the app to work even when terminated, continuing to process parking activity data your mobile device.
• ParkUSC (ParkZen) does not track the location history, identity or other sensitive user data.
• Data is processed locally within your mobile device and is not shared with ParkZen.
• ParkZen only collects anonymized locations and times of parking and/or open spots left by users within the campus property.
• The parking and lot occupancy data are stored securely using Google cloud services and protected by the highest security standards.
