Join the Leadership Team of South Carolina’s Flagship University

Following the successful nine-year deanship of Dean Rob Willcox, the new Dean will lead a School that has hired a new generation of highly productive scholars, reduced in-state tuition by 17% and moved to a new $80 million building two blocks from the State House and State Supreme Court.

Reporting to the Provost, the new Dean will be a prominent leader in the legal academy who will be a visible, credible and effective advocate and promoter of the School.

Candidates must possess a JD, at least ten years of experience in the teaching and/or practice of law and a publication record that meets the School’s criteria for tenure at the full professor rank.
