Each candidate will have a program in their seat. Inside that program is a name card, which has the student’s name and seat number printed on it. When a candidate is called to stand and process by a Commencement Marshal, they will take the card with them. As the candidate approaches the stage ramp, they will hand their card to a Commencement Marshal, so their name will be announced as they ascend the stage ramp.
Commencement Marshals in garnet gowns will be on the floor to assist candidates during graduation.
If a candidate does not have a name card or need help, they can find a Commencement Marshal and ask for assistance.
