Faculty working at the University of South Carolina generate outstanding research every day. To help them receive the recognition they deserve for their excellent scholarly contributions, the Office of the Vice President for Research has compiled listings of external honors and awards designated as “Highly Prestigious” and “Prestigious” by the National Research Council. We have also compiled a list of faculty members who have received these highly prestigious and prestigious awards and can nominate others for them, provide insight into the nomination process, etc. By connecting faculty members with award opportunities and information about colleagues who have received awards, we aim to empower UofSC faculty members to compete and receive external recognition.
